Annabelle is a visual artist creating abstract works that are all about intuitive mark making, focusing more on the process of creating rather than the end goal.
After a long period of chronic health flares, creating art seemed like a massive feat. This is when the planning slowed down and the intuition kicked in.
“I knew I needed to create, creating to me is healing and it’s what my body needed but thinking about what I was going to create was too much. So I just started making marks, painting blobs, spirals, squiggles and it grew from there.”
Annabelle strives to make art that she is passionate about and a joy to make. She wants to share her art with others who can connect in a similar way and hopes those who see her art can too feel joyful, inspired, excited and at peace.
